# Introduction

TIPS for makers and maker spaces to access resources for circular productions.

Are you a maker passionate about circular production? Dive into our latest blog post exploring the vibrant world of makers dedicated to circular production!

**Circular productions** are an approach to manufacturing and production. In general, it emphasises the reuse and recycling of materials and resources, rather than relying on new resources. The European Union provides subsidies for circular production projects to promote sustainable economic growth and reduce waste.

There is plenty of information available about the European sources of funding and business support for circular-making endeavours.

The European Union’s Horizon 2020 [Pop-Machina project](https://fablabbcn.org/projects/pop-machina) has helped the maker teams in their Accelerator Programme to get more help and information on this matter. The Pop-Machina Circular Maker Accelerator was a programme that aimed to offer makers the knowledge and skills required to scale-up their projects into viable business models following circular principles, which can remain sustainable and competitive in the current and future markets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://books.fablabbcn.org/pop-machina-routes-to-access-funding-for-circular/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
